My personal reaction to this reading selection was that I was extremely shocked to find out that Clea's best guy friend is inlove with her. Her best friend doesn't want Clea to be inlove with Sage. Clea might leave him if Sage says he wants to run away with her. Clea feels to pressured to be a good girl and she wants to escape everything. The pattern of organization is cause and effect. Since Clea feels pressured to be a role model she becomes depressed. Because Sage fell inlove with Clea he will never give up on her. Clea's best guy friend being inlove with her makes her have to decide which guy she wants to be with. If she goes with Sage their fate is to die but thats her soul mate and if she goes with raymond she'll be with a man she doesn't feel a big connection with.
